Well once again I find myself starting over. I have literally tried everything on the planet to successfully lose weight and keep it off. On Valentines Day I woke up and felt that nagging voice on my head telling me to weigh in and see where you are at. This was after the night before looking through my closet to find something to wear for Valentines Day and realizing nothing fit anymore... So I go on the scale and it said 193.8! I broke down and started was a truly devastating morning.

Then suddenly I stopped crying. I told myself .. Anna you are capable of changing this...this is something that is not out of your control.. So I sat down and started thinking about things that had worked in the past as long as I kept doing them..

The only program I have ever used that worked was SparkPeople. Something about this program, I think the customizable features, successfully worked for me! The last time I was an active spark member I lost 40 pounds in 6 months. Everything in my life changed. My family ate what I ate so we were all healthier and had more energy..

Why I stopped? Well I lost so much weight and felt so good about myself which helped bring back the spark in my marriage...umm.. Well we ended up pregnant with baby number four!

I signed up at baby fit right away and gained only 20lbs during my last pregnancy..the lowest amount of weight I had ever gained. But then...motherhood set back in. Sleepless nights and mindless eating..more days on the couch and less outside with my family. I just lost my spark for myself..

That baby will be five years old this July. Time has sure passed and I am back at my original starting weight. I have this mindset in my head to never be over 200lbs. Maybe because everyone I know who has gone over that magical number has somehow made it to 300 lbs as well. That could easily be me if I can't find my spark again!

I love this site and I love the suggestions and the support. It has always been the one thing that worked and it never costed me anything but my time. I'm very blessed to have found this site 7 years ago and been able to apply the principles to my life.

Fitness Minutes: 1,170

My Goals:
I need to lose 50 pounds or more. I plan on doing this 10 pounds at a time

My Program:
My plan is to make healthier food choices and exercise for at least 10 minutes a day gradually working my way up to 30 minutes+ per day

Personal Information:
I am originally from San Diego California. I moved to Littleton Co in 2008. I love it here and cant ever imagine moving back to California. Life moves at a much slower pace here and the people seem to really know what is important in life.

I am married for almost 10 years now but we have been together for 18 years. He is truly my soul mate and I am truly blessed.

We have four sons of varying ages from 23-3... I know 20 years of children.

I am currently a SAHM. I hate it but I know its important. I am hoping to go back to work next year

Other Information:
I like to read just about anything, I love politics even though they are fairly brutal this year and I love to bake! It is probably my favorite thing in the world hence the 50 pound weight gain!
