I originally joined Sparkpeople back in 2010 but didn't make the time to do anything with it. I am one of those people who do things with the all or nothing mentality. I would start by trying to drastically cut my calories and do 60 minutes of exercise a day. I would be okay for a day or 2 but then would binge like crazy. Then I would go into a downward spiral. If I didn't do everything perfectly what was the point in doing it at all. I did manage to lose 17 pounds in 3 months but of course I have gained it back. I am coming to realize that everything doesn't have to be perfect. And it doesn't have to be immediate. I need to pace myself. I like that small changes are emphasized here. Small changes are easy. With enough small changes I can make big changes in the long run.

Fitness Minutes: 5,753

My Goals:
Lose 30pounds by 2/25/12. (Done)

Lose 30 more pounds by 7/14/12.

RUN in a 5k by the end of 2012.

My Program:
To log onto Sparkpeople as often as possible. To track everything. To eat right and be a good example to my family.

Personal Information:
I am a married mother of 2 awesome girls. I have been with my husband for 15 years. We are both big eaters and love to watch tv late at night while eating Taco Bell. It has become a nasty habit. One of our daughters has never had a weight issue. She is tall and slender, a dancer. Our youngest is taking after her mom and dad. She is active but overweight and loves to eat out. She also has some food issues and can be a picker eater but she will always eat if it's fast food. We as parents have set her up to be overweight and make bad food choices, we are now trying to fix this.

Other Information:
I am lactose intolerant and have a daughter who is lactose intolerant and allergic to eggs and chicken. This makes meal planning very difficult. We have alot of the same meals week after week. Any suggestions would be welcome. :)
