Re-Reset 03-20-17
Another false start in 2015 means that I'm here again, above my last starting weight, and not happy with myself for not committing myself to making changes a year an a half ago. I thought about changing my profile picture, but I'm going to use that as my motivation...I think I look darn good in that picture and would love to get there again.

Reality Check 08-12-15
I've let myself creep back up to near my starting weight. :-( My starting Sparkpeople cohort is now an inactive group, and I haven't logged into SP for probably 1 1/2-2 years. I know Sparkpeople (the process AND the people) worked to help me get down to a healthy weight and lifestyle. I need to commit to this again, measure/weigh more than my breakfast, make exercise a regular activity again, and get back to "fighting weight."
01-2013 - OK. So 8-10 of the 25 I lost found me again. I stopped Sparking, and now I'm not where I was or want to be...again. A Biggest Loser Challenge at work will hopefully help me get back on track again. I know what I need to do; I've done it before. Now it's time to make it permanent.
3rd Title and Intro - 7/2009
I've Gotten Up, I've Been Going, and I've Gotta Keep Going
Yea! I've reached my goal weight, but the journey continues. Now I need to change my plan and my program to KEEP the weight off, and there's still plenty of toning to do (read "saggy belly skin"). SP and all my spark friends have helped me get this far, so I'm not going anywhere. I know I'll need help to keep on keeping on, and I sure want to be around to cheer my fellow Sparkers on to their goals. I'm also going to turn my attention to getting my house in shape now that I am. Between SP and FlyLady, I'm hopeful I can get a handle on this, too.
2nd Title and Intro (5-27-09): I've Gotten Up and I'm Going
I think with the light at the end of the tunnel getting brighter (I only have 5 pounds until my goal weight), I think it's fair to say I've gotten up and I'm going. Now I'm going to have to start thinking about how I'm going to keep getting up and going when the excitement of seeing the scale and tape measure numbers decrease ends.
Original Title and Intro (1-29-09): Get Up and Get Going
OK, it's time to get off my duff and like what I see in the mirror again.

Current Goals:
Move to maintenance by continuing to track calories and exercise until I'm comfortable with my new calorie range.
Keep working to firm up the saggy belly skin and continue to tone the rest of my body, too.
Spend less time on personal fitness and more time putting my house on the Spark program...ala Flylady.
2nd Round Goals:
Lose 13 pounds by June 1. DONE! 14 pounds for a total of 26 on July 15
Lose another clothing size by June 1. DONE! May 12 AND a 2nd size July 8 (size 6!)
Lose 2-4" off my waist. DONE! 2 1/2" for a total of 5 1/2" on July 2
Lose 1" off my neck (I think it really makes a difference.) Stayed steady at 3/4" for a total of 1 1/2", so I'm done.
Lose 1-2" off my hips. DONE! 2" for a total of 4" on July 2
Lose 1-2" off my thighs. DONE! 2" for a total of 3" on July 9
Keep exchanging flab for firm.
My Program:
I'm working on the details of my new program for combining maintenance with Sparking my house.
SUGGESTIONS VERY WELCOME!

Congrats on your 14 pound weight loss. You've passed the half way mark and are on your way to the finish line - woo-hoo!! When did you go (or when are you going) to Disney? We're heading to WDW in May. Can't wait!
