    Thanks Neelixnkes. I actually end up with GI discomfort eating graham crackers. Been that way for almost 20 years, but would never have thought that gluten was the culprit. Have a great day.

    Not sure about the gluten impacting blood pressure. I'm finding though that eliminating it is helping my heartburn. I was getting heartburn from graham crackers and Ritz crackers of all things. I had a slight change in blood pressure meds - dr increased one to see if it would stimulate weight loss since I was in a plateau of a 10lb range for a year. It may have been the bp med change or it could be the gluten free. My bp has been normal as long as I take my meds.

    Welcome to SP. If you have high blood pressure, may I suggest adding sodium to your nutrition tracker? I'm about to go off medication for this and cut out all processed deli meats (except turkey), chips and most processed foods in general because there's a LOT of hidden sodium in them. It's made a huge difference! Exercising regularly is also routine for me. Good luck emoticon
