Hi! I am a 52-year old with a wonderful spouse. Both my spouse and I have our parents living in town for a couple of years now. The 20 years prior we were taking turns visiting our parents on the holidays: Florida, then Indiana, then Florida and so on. I want stay healthy and active and be able to live mindfully.
03/28/201 Spring 2021 5% Challenge--will walk much more this spring and start doing adapted push -ups.
03/08/21 Inbetween Challenge, 8100 steps, continue chair yoga
01/04/21: Continue yoga. Be active in the 5% Winter 2021 Challenge.
11/30: Plan: chair yoga at least 4 times a week (so far so good, 12/13/20)
10/21 Plan: chair yoga Tues, Sat. (Outcome: stay connected)
7/12/2020 Still doing ZOOM chair yoga...at least 5 times a week.

6/30 For safety's sake, back to ZOOM chair yoga
6/23 and 6/25 attend public yoga at rec center (w/ masks)
6/13/2020 Still doing chair yoga... yay!
5/22/2020 Three of us are still doing chair yoga...4 to 6 times a week. Yay for us during "Stay Home Stay Safe".

3/31/2020 Some family members and friends and I started doing yoga "together" virtually on FaceTime when self-distancing started. Today will be a first try doing chair yoga with Zoom.

1/15/2020 Start 5% challenge last Saturday

... and this piece of information -- especially for my 2020 Winter 5% Challenge Team members: I lost my 48-year old brother this past April (2019) to suicide. It still shocking and still hurts.

Checking back in... the first anniversary of my brother's death is coming up this month. We sure miss him.

    It was nice to see your comment. I have been really busy with work and simply tired after work and not giving my self the time to post. I have been working out most of the time though, but I need to get back to posting regularly to keep my self in check and start to loose weight again.

    I hope you are doing good and sticking to your work out and eating right.

    Thank you for the comment on my page. I was sore after the run and what surprised me was hove sore my stomach muscul where. I would have expected my feet to be sore :-)

    Thank you for commenting on my page. Nice to hear from you. Warmer days sounds very nice. It have been lots and lots of snow in Iceland, we have to go back to 1984 to find similar! Spring sounds very nice in my ears :-)

    Spinning class is always fun and I enjoy it a lot. I also tried Zumba class on Saturday and enjoyed it a lot. I recommend it.

    I am sure you will enjoy taking yoga with your friends. I would love to have a real live friend to go with me to my gym but I like the people at the gym and try do chat a little with them before and after classes.
