Welcome back to Sparkpeople so glad you have returned.

You might want to go to your Sparkpage and at the top of the page put the current date and then a little about what you have been doing since joining Sparkpeople = I suggest that so that when we come to say hi we can read how you are doing and any changes you might have made since originally joining.

Also remember to participate as often as possible on all the groups you have joined as that is where you will get a lot of encouragement and motivation

    Hi and welcome back! emoticon

I saw your intro on the message board and thought I would pass by your page and say hi. I've been a member for a few years. I can relate to how you feel. When I first started SparkPeople my primary goal was to get healthy, too. I had to start from scratch due to health problems. I have a whole new life now. emoticon

I think your decision to give your daughter a pony is an awesome! What a dream come true! When I was a child I road horses, but only during the summer. I was a city girl. My favorite horse was "Rob Roy". I learned to care for him at the stable. There's nothing better than having a close relationship with an animal.

As for walking, I would walk along with your daughter and sister as far as you can, that is if you have a place you can rest. Maybe, when they are on the way back you can walk with them. It would be a start, anyway. If you can go with them, maybe just take a walk by yourself. Listen to some music or an audio book. Besides, one hours isn't bad at all for starters. I know it seems like nothing to you, but you have to start somewhere. Something I learned on SP, is to reward myself for whatever I do. I'm a perfectionist, so it helps to motivate me. I have a little jar I put dollars in at the end of the day. At the end of a certain goal I buy myself something I ordinarily wouldn't buy. I don't raise the bar too high nor too low. It took some practice, but I figured it out.

    Have a great day!
