I am a new mommy to a baby girl Rinoa and mommy to big brother Tyler who is 8 years old. I had a very complicated pregnancy was on some sort of bed rest through most of my pregnancy. I had Gestational Diabetes (had hx of PCOS prepregancy) and Pregnancy Induced Hypertension. Since having Rinoa I have been having a real tough time with PPD/A w OCD which has been making motivation a very hard thing to come by. (I have a hx of ppd w/tyler, ADHD, and PTSD so I am hard to treat). One of the treatments for PPD is the Well Mommy Checklist. Which includes many things for me to take care of myself each and everyday. So, I have been trying to do this each and everyday and found I wasn't getting my 10 minutes of exercise so I have started back on my 10-minute challenge. We got a kinect this Christmas so hoping that this helps make this fun for the whole family.

I have also been bad mostly because I have been scared to get my blood work done to find out if I am diabetic after having GD. ( I know I am a nurse right I know how dangerous this can be uggh) Well scheduled my physical and got most of my blood work done to find out I have impared fasting blood glucose so pre-diabetic.

So, now I have to get back on track. I have to loose weight. Diabetes scares me. My mom when I was 19 died from kidney failure related to diabetes. I want to be here for my kids and my husband. The problem I am finding is how do I manage getting back on track when I barely have energy to get out of bed and get dressed while taking care of a new baby, an 8 year old, while trying to look for a new job because was laid off while out with my pregnancy. I just don't know how to do it but I sure as hell am going to try,

My Goals:
I am going to for 10 minutes everyday no matter what.

I am going to complete stage 1 of spark people diet to stage 2.

I am going to do something active everyday.

We are going to become a more active family doing things together like bike riding, walking, hiking, skating, laser tag, etc.

My Program:
I am currently on the sparkpeople's couch 2 5K walking program. So right now my goal is complete that and move on to the couch 2 5K walk/run program either that or re-do couch 2 5K walking and improve speed.

Finish week 1 C25K - new scale.
Finish week 2 C25K- hair cut.
Finish week 3 C25K- New sports bra.
Finish week 4 C25K- 2 hours away from the kids.
Finish week 5 C25K- Used jogging stroller.

I am tracking my calories my goal is to track 5/7 days still working on that. I am finding it hard still to keep in calorie range breastfeeding makes that hard but I trying to reach for healthier low calorie options when hungry.

Personal Information:
I just moved to Salem, NH I live with my wonderful husband and my 8 year old son and 4 month daughter. I am currently a SAHM but was a visiting nurse.
Reasons I want to lose weight:

1. I want to be healthy.
2. I don't want to have to worry that I am not going to fit in a stall, chair, furniture and always scared that I am going to break something.
3. I want to be more then a pretty face.
4. I want to buy regular clothes for the first time since I was 14. I am tired of spending extra money on plus size clothes that never really look good.
5. I want to be active with my children and have energy, instead of always being tired.
6. I want to be active as a family and do active things together.
7. I want another baby and be healthy for my children.
8. I want the old me the real me back.

Other Information:
I am currently a SAHM with a new baby who needs to find a way to balance work, family, personal time. Need to find a way to nurture my mind, body, and spirit. I need to find time for it all. One way right now is to make exercising a priority.

I need to find a new job as a nurse that allows me to balance work, family, and personal time.
