In my effort to get back to the basics, this is the first thing wrote in my original "introduction" MY PLEDGE: **I Pledge to do my best to work towards successfully meeting my goals for this year. **I pledge to be kind to myself, to love and encourage myself, to have a sense of humor and to pick myself up when I fall, without castigating, berating or hating myself **I pledge to surround myself with people who are positive and upbeat; who will love and encourage me. I will be there to love and encourage my friends as well. **I pledge to set mini goals for myself so I am not overwhelmed and I will celebrate every success! **I will find the joy in every day! I will go through my day with an attitude of gratitude for ALL the blessings in my life. Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, She became a butterfly 2017 After a small, mostly unintended break from SP, I'm back. I have had time to think... debate and argue with myself...wonder and worry...I lost the argument for a while and paid the price. Hope and desire to grow beyond where I am has won out. I'm here...again and I will keep returning until I get it right once and for all. So here I am, once again...getting back to basics, not only here dealing with my health, but with the other areas of my life. I have made the mistake in the past in focusing on only one area of my being and life, instead of working towards integrating everything I learn (and not only from here) into my whole self. I am filled with hope, excitement, and desire to make this year, 2017, the best year since before I was sick. It's time to throw off the shackles and limitations of the past and look forward to the hope, possibilities, and joy of the now. Because Now Is All There Is!

To walk into my Faire in October of 2017and surprise the living daylights out of my faire family! To travel on a plane and NOT have to ask for a seat belt extender and worry that I'll be charged for two seats! To walk into anyplace and buy something loverly right off the rack!

Calorie counting and exercise. Simplicity and moderation. I walk, dance, strength train and use my stair stepper.

I have a passion for Renaissance faires and all things Celtic; I am a voracious reader(to put it mildly! *LOL*). I have a wildly eclectic taste in music, although I can usually be found listening to Ren faire, Celtic and New Age music. I enjoy doing various crafts and simply to cook and entertain. I am a tree hugger from way back and love nothing better than to be out in nature, preferably the near the ocean or in the mountains.
