After taking a break this winter, I am back to walking and lawn mowing to get my fitness minutes in! I gained some weight back (darn it) but know I do not want to get back to my former self so hopefully, the warmer weather will help me get back to shedding pounds again I WILL (changed that from "need to") start up my weight training again. Things have been stressful at work so sometimes the exercise part just seems too much at the end of the day. I do fit in my walking in the morning so I get that done before I have excuses--just not willing right now to get up even earlier to do the weights! Ah well, one step at a time!

My Goals:
I reached 160 and have been hovering there ever since! My long-term goal is to get back down to the 140s or 130s—I'll wait to see how I look before determining my maintenance weight.
My Program:
No sugar and gluten-free--sticking with calories and percentages of protein, carbs, and fat that Spark recommends for me for the most part. I seem to do better with higher fat percentages and I do add back in some of the calories I burn through exercise.
Personal Information:
I live in Oklahoma with my husband of nearly 34 years and our two Westies—and a houseful of plants. I am the director at a village museum on a beautiful lake. We are updating and expanding our approximately 2-mile long nature trail and so I have new paths to walk these days! I can get most of my walking in without hardly leaving home (I live on the grounds).
Other Information:
I like to read, crochet and knit, play with clay, and try out new crafts. I also like gardening and have an heirloom seed garden (pioneer and Cherokee) at the Village and an herb garden that I help maintain as well as raised beds of my own where I grow flowers and vegetables together. Nothing better than to be able to eat the freshly-picked produce right out of your own garden!

Amelia! Hoping you have a wonderful day in the spotlight!
I think I tell you this each time, but I LOVE the name Amelia. If I had a little girl, she might of been an Amelia too. So pretty!
