When I started college, I thought I was fat; At 5’10, I weighed in at about 163-167lbs. I would always consider working out or dieting, maybe even do a workout video for a couple days (a week tops) and then I’d quit. I was skinny enough to wear a bikini without shame, so losing weight or firming up was never a huge deal to me. Then, due to a lack of activity and a long summer filled with heavy eating, I put on eighty pounds in five months. When I graduated college, I knew that all had to change. Over the course of about a year and a half, I lost all 80 of those pounds and I did almost all of it through counting calories (1,300 limit) with minimal exercise. Then during the winter of 2011 I put back on about 15lbs. I went back to counting calories, making sure I got in at least 30 minutes of activity every day, but the scale wouldn't budge. Then I found myself in another relationship and I packed on 35 more pounds. THIRTY-FIVE!!! Yeesh. Writing that out feels gross but it needs to be said. I started to eat clean and quickly shed 15lbs in two weeks only to then discover I was pregnant. Eeks! Now I have a beautiful baby boy and an additional 40lbs to lose. I know I can do it, though. Not just for me, but for him. I want to live the longest, healthiest life possible!

My Goals:
1. Run a mile without stopping.

2. Pick my outfit based on my mood, not the self-conciousness I have regarding my tummy.

3. Prove to myself I can do it. I chatter on and on about how strong I am, now's the time I prove it to myself and everyone else.

5. Fit into size 9 jeans.


My Program:
I do my best to stick to my calorie limit while hitting all my other nutritional goals.

I also strive to average 45 minutes of exercise a day (approx. 1,350 minutes/month).
