This is my story....A girl's life long love affair with sweet treats and the fat that came along with it and loved her back just as much! I was on a constant weight loss journey, trying every fad diet that came along. I would lose the weight, feel amazing, and then gain it right back! I got tired of being on the weight loss roller coaster and with the help of an amazing guy, I started exercising regularly and cut out all processed foods. Along the way I realized I was allergic to soy and was lactose intolerant, not a fun combination. But I've made the best of it and I started cooking all of my own meals and creating delicious protein cake and brownie recipes that not only taste amazing, but contribute to my fat loss and muscle building goals. So far I have lost 17 pounds and I am not stopping there! I am committed to my health and never again will I hop back on that roller coaster. is a place for me to share my soy-free and lactose-free fitness journey. My Goals:
To run the Gate River Run in March and other race events throughout the year, to get fit and loose belly fat, tone legs, workout 4 or more times a week and be healthy and happy!

My Program:
I currently go to the gym 6 days a week. My program consists of an upper/lower body split. I usually do two upper body , two lower body and two cardio days. In between all of my sets, I perform active rests such as jumping jacks, mountain climbers, high knees and abs.

I am a born and raised Florida girl and have been living in beautiful Brooklyn, NY for the past 3 years. I spend my free time creating healthy recipes, working on my fitness in the gym, meal planning, and exploring NYC! I love blogging because it is a fun way for me to share my journey with family, friends, and others. Let the good times roll!
