My Husband took our sweet Nestle to the Groomers on Thursday. I'm sure she enjoyed being fussed on. Nestle is our Pet we got from the animal shelter a couple years ago.

My Dear Friends of Spark People,
This is all pretty new to me. I just posted my first picture which is of my sister Kathy and I taken in July of 2009. I really don't think there is much change other than being two years older. My name is Janis; I'm the one on the left. I go by the username of ALLENJOSEPH.
I was very successful on the Form You 3 Diet back in 1997. I was so motivated. My problem came after I reached my goal. When I went on maintenance, I went back to all my old habits (definitely not good). In June of 2007, I began going to TOPS. I really have not done well, and I've blamed it on lack of motivation. I haven't felt highly motivated since my Form You 3 experience. I would like to pool with those who have the same interest. I have my series of the Melt Down start and the Levels that follow melt down. I think it would be exciting to do. I was trying to connect with, I believe someone by the name of Rebecca last night, but I'm not so good at being able to find and use everything on Spark People yet. I'll improve as I learn more.
I ended up with breast cancer in November of 2008. As I recuperated from my surgery, when I was feeling pretty good, I ate well, and ate more than I should have. I went thru reconstructive surgery, and during that period, I wasn't able to go to TOPS. When I went back to the group, I had most of my weight back where I originally started. That is about where I am now. I was trying to fix the scale that shows my weight, but I don't know how. Wow! I sure have alot to learn. I'm ready to get serious about my health.
    Sincerely, Janis "ALLENJOSEPH" emoticon
