Introduction Text I will lose this weight! WHAT AM I AFRAID OF??? Hi all! I am just shy of my 29th birthday, and am DONE with being overweight. I've been overweight by at least 20 pounds for as far back as I can remember. I've never really not liked my body so much, I can remember getting teased maybe twice growing up, but for some reason I seemed to have it pretty easy. I never had problems with the opposite sex, and I have to say I landed myself a very handsome hubby! We've been together 12 years now, and have 3 beautiful children, 2 of which tried to kill me. Apparently my heart isn't cut out for the last month of pregnancy, or childbirth. I had many issues at the end, and after the births of my 1st, and 3rd children. The doctors now say it's a fluke that nothing happened with my 2nd! And I was also informed that I should have been told not to have anymore children after my 1st was born. The issue isn't my weight, BUT my weight is NOW the issue! If I do not lose the weight, I am likely to have a very short and very medicated life. And I am not on board with that AT ALL! So, my journey has begun! I have dieted in the past. Since my husband and I got together, I've put on 120 pounds- in 12 years! UGH! Now I finally have the information and the knowledge to get this done, and done right! No more dieting, this is a lifestyle change and I refuse to ever look back! I've never really hated my body, but I definitely always would have liked to be thinner. Now, I am ecstatic knowing that soon enough, I will be a healthy, thinner me! I ran across NEVA42's sparkpage and what an inspiration she is! With her permission, I am quoting her on my page. This just really touched me! If it starts bothering me, I will go to once a week. I only update when I have a loss. I am so mad at myself for gaining so much weight back, but I'm back at it now. My short term goal right now is to be down to 215 by May 7th. Hubby and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary (been together 14 though!) on May 11th, and will be doing something on that weekend to celebrate! I am confident I can do this!
