Hola! My name is Brandiann Alegria and I have consistently used Spark People over the last 8 years to help with my weight loss journey.

I had lost 88 pounds since I became a member of Spark People and had 3 amazing kiddos after struggling with infertility.

I gained quite a bit with my third baby and I am just now ready to tackle this weight. I have had a multitude of rare and serious illnesses I've dealt with over the last 6 years. Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Celiac Disease, Asthma, multiple chemical sensitivity and medicine allergies, intractable (every day) migraine since June 2017, and most recently... a brain tumor on my pituitary gland and secondary adrenal insufficiency due to damage to the pituitary gland.

I'm not quite sure how I survived through 2016-2017. It is only by the Grace of God!

I just got married to the love of my life, Rodrigo, on 12/22/17. Wow is he amazing! Not perfect, because we are all flawed, but he is just truly amazing and I am so grateful for him.

He never criticizes me about my weight neither directly nor indirectly and if he ever talks about my weight at all, it's in a purely health perspective. I know he is fine with me however I look, but I want to be back to a healthy weight so that I can feel my best and most confident around him.

Motivation:
My motivators are my health, increased energy, and being healthy for my husband and kids

I have been using SparkPeople since 2008 and lost enough weight to become pregnant (4 times now) even though I had PCOS. Now, I want to reach my goal weight of 185 within the next 2 years.

A LITTLE PROGRESS ~

Right now in this very moment you can make a little bit of progress. There's something productive and useful you can do to improve your world and your life. // It may not seem like much, and yet it can make a big difference. Because even a little progress is progress in a positive direction, and it's infinitely better than doing nothing. //
You can waste this moment or you can use it. There's a world of difference between those two simple choices.
Though you may not immediately achieve anything stunning or momentous, still you can achieve right here and right now. And once you've achieved, it will feel so good you'll jump right in and achieve again. // This is your day and this is your life. It's happening right now, and you can do something wonderful with it. // Give the value of your effort to this moment, and you'll receive much more value in return. Here is your chance to make a little progress, so do it. ~Ralph Marston

AMIGAAA!!!! I've missed you! I was thinking of you the other day. Como has estado? I've been somewhat MIA from SP for a while, but I plan on being better about it since I'm trying to be better about getting healthy.

Hi, Thanks for the add and the comment on my page. So far the whole 30 is great, but I have not had to eat out yet. I am a bit scared of that.
