At my heaviest now, I am 200 pounds. A mere 7 years ago I was 125. I want to get close to that again. I'm tired of my clothing choices being limited by my size 14 waist. I would like to be back in the 8-10 pant size range.

I recently had a health assessment for my insurance. My BMI was calculated at 40% (EEEEKKK!), my bad cholesterol was high and my blood sugar was low. My blood pressure was perfect. The recommendations were to do cardio at least 3 times a week and weight lifting 2 times a week. For my frame size, my recommended weight is 140-150, so I have a minimum of 50 pounds to lose.

I have a large weight loss goal in mind, which is on my profile, listed under My Goals. However, I need small goals because I like to see results fast. That's why I have my weight tracker set for only one month of weight loss at a time. I will get frustrated if I set it at 140 for my overall goal right now because it will take a lot of weight loss to budge the tracker. That will discourage me and I acknowledge that. So, although it only looks like I am trying to lose 8 pounds, my goal is a lot larger than that!
