My name is Andrea and for the last 12 years I have been overweight - now I am considered obese - weighing a huge 112 kilos (244.9lbs).

That was my first post and now one year on..

Hi my name is Andrea and I have lost 20 kilos... now at 92 kilos
I am finally finding my way - I have also left my husband and been happily ensconced in a large queenslander with my son...

I am fighting for custody of my children in court at the moment - stress levels are high...

And I have started a new business:

My Goals:
*I want to be able to wear the clothes I have stuffed at the back of my cupboard...
*I want to look in the mirror and be happy with the image looking back at me
*I want to stop having to be careful about where I am going when I am in a skirt, so that I don''t have my thighs rub together until they bleed.
*I am sick of waking up in the morning and rolling over wishing with my whole heart that I don''t have to get out of bed this morning and get the kids off to school.
*I want to stop feeling depressed about my weight...
*I want my confidence back.
*I want to not be embarrassed whenI meet old friends and know what they are thinking as when they new me I was slim and now I am this bloated overweight frumpy blob...
*I want to be under 100 kilos when I turn 33 on November 13th.
* I want to be able to put on my own socks and shoes and not have to have assistance from my ten year old because I can''t reach my feet.
*I want to prove to myself that I am capable

My Program:
I eat three healthy meals a day, always careful to have my brekky, I take a woman''s multi-vitamin every morning, I walk the kids to school with our doggy which is about a 40 min walk 5 times a week (sometimes 4 if I have to go somewhere early).

I climb a mountain every fortnight on a Monday - so far I have been up Mt Ngungun twice on the 25th Sept and again on the 9th October, next mountain climb is this monday the 23rd.

    My name is Laura and I thought I would say hi to some of the members. I just joined and am hoping this will be the answer to my needing motivation. It seems that if I don't see results quickly I lose interest in it. I am from the Okanagan in British Columbia. I am a sales rep for our local paper so the need to look good tends to be important. Just one more reason to lose the weight. I was always very thin until I quit smoking and then I gained 60 pounds and have not been able to lose the weight and with the high stress I seem to have put even more weight on, I have started to walk every day, even if it is only for 10 minutes. My husband has been diagnosed with borderline diabetes, so any healthy tips I can gather while I am here, all the better. I look forward to hearing from you. Bye for now Laura
