Hello, my name is Angela! I am married to the most wonderful man in the world and have 5 beautiful, sweet daughters! I love life, my family and God! I am here to lose weight! I just found this site looking up other diet programs that cost money, and here is a wonderful program that is free, does it get any better than that?!!!

I just wanted to add a little more info about myself. I have not been over weight my whole life, only my adult life. I am 39 years old now. I was skinny as a small child, then got a little chunky during pre-teen years. Then as a teen I slimmed right up from height and just being active all the time. I remember at 17 years old being 117#'s. The problem was though that even then I saw myself as fat. I am trying to work on body image within myself. After I had my first daughter at the age of 21 then immediately my second at 22 I never lost all the weight from either pregnancy's. I was not huge, about 155#-165# after second one but the problem for me always comes in the next couple of years after birth. I always pack on another 20 or so pounds. I stayed finally somewhere between 172#-198# for quite a few years there after. At 31 I had my third daughter. By that point I think weighed somewhere around the 200# mark. I believe right after her I weighed 212#. Then as I said before after birth I went and gained another 20 or more pounds. Now fast forward and I am re-updating this again on 3/2/2018 and I have beautiful identical twin girls. I gave birth to them 6/23/15 and I believe my weight got to about 252 or 262. It was a tough time, and it's hard to remember exactly. I actually lost almost 50 pounds in like a month without even trying. I had never done that before. However as soon as I started getting my appetite back and moving around more, I fairly quickly went back up to 240ish pounds. After dieting now off and on for about a year without using sprkppl I am down to 220. I honestly don't care what I weigh specifically anymore, as long as the scale is moving in a downward motion. I don't plan to have anymore kids, so the rest of my life will be a "diet"! I just can't wait to be out of 200's and wear smaller jeans, and feel healthier. I am already noticing how much better I feel. Just want to add, I have dieted so many times now and I lose and go back up. I feel like now though, I may go up a little, but I am in this for the long haul and I think, finally realize this can't just be something you do occasionally, it has to be a life long decision. Because it will be harder to maintain, then to even lose I can only assume. Because when I get there, I'm going to feel "done" but I know now, it'll never be over. "Lifetime diet!"

Thank you Yorkiemom! If I actually get as low as I want, then I too will have lost 100 pounds, but when I get to about 150 I'll rethink what I need to weigh and decide then. I started Spark people 2 years ago and lost about 12 pounds but didn't stay committed and gained it back. This time I have decided I am no longer walking every day to just lose weight but to make myself more healthy which means no matter what I weigh I will continue to walk for the rest of my life. Even if no weight loss occurs, I am still walking 30-45 mins everyday. I am finally starting to somewhat enjoy it. Mainly because walking has helped my lower back stop hurting. I hope you do great and lose all you desire!
