Hi my name is Cat and I am here to get encouragement from others who are looking to improve their health. I am sick and tired of carrying all this weight around that has become the biggest burden in my life. I am ready to drop it.

Fitness Minutes: 7,327

My Goals:
I would absolutely LOVE to wake up tomorrow and POOF! be a regular sized woman. BUT, since that ain't never gonna happen, I will press forward to live as healthy as I can.

I would LOVE to be able to run for more than one minute at a time. By next year I plan to either walk or walk/run in my first 5K.

I want to buy some really cute clothes when I am at my goal weight. Jeans and t-shirts are BORING!

My Program:
Dear hubby and I recently got bicycles so we have been having fun riding. I also want to incorporate strength training too. I do not limit any one type of food, but believe we can eat everything in moderation.

Personal Information:
I am 47 years old and have been married for 30 years. I have one son and three beautiful daughters. I work part time at an elementary school.

Other Information:
I am TRYING to enjoy cooking. I think I would like it more if I had more successes in the new things I try. (I hate spending money on recipes and then not liking them. GRRR!) I enjoy scrapbooking but don't seem to find as much time to enjoy it as much as I'd like. My free time is spent relaxing with my family (i.e. movie night at home, board games, going out to eat). I also enjoy going to the gym on a regular basis once I get it started. :)

UPDATE!: We have been enjoying being a kid again (at least feel like one!) since we bought bicycles. I LOVE riding!
