HOPEFUL2DAY!
Hey there friend, Thanks so much for checking in on me. It's been a long month (and really doesn't look like it will let up for awhile), but we'll get there. We're still waiting for some school records to submit and see what happens with Ben and funny you mention doctor visit, because actually, Ben is due to go as well. :D
I'm so sorry to here about your mother-in-law. Glad to hear that things are looking up. I'll send up a prayer for complete healing for her. Hopefully, she will get to come home soon. I know that will lift her spirits.
I just found another book that was sent to me as a sample for the bookstore that I thought I'd try first since I already have it. It's by the same author and written just like Jesus Calling. It's called 40 Days with Jesus - Celebrating His Presence. I'll probably pick up the other as soon as I'm done.
With everything going on, I am really struggling to stay on track. I don't feel like I've given up, just overwhelmed. I'll get there though.
HIKETOHEIGHTS
hi beautiful lady, hoping you are doing well. I am still keeping busy, did an MS walk last month & doing the Revlon Walk next week. I started working on my vegetable garden today, my very first ever. It is harder than I thought. Hopefully the bunnies won't eat it all.
HOPEFUL2DAY!
Hey sweet friend, Thank you so much for the encouragement. It's funny you brought up the name of that devotional. One of the things I have sort of inherited at church is the bookstore and I carried that book for awhile. I was thinking about re-ordering it (though I haven't read it myself). I think I will and grab one for me.
My hubby is the Family Pastor at the church and I'm the Family Ministries Director (everything from parenting, marriages, to kids).
It's been sort of a rough day here again. (I'm tellin' ya, these have to stop.) :) I told you that my son broke his nose last week. This week the coach did some testing on him and found out he has some depth perception issues, so they've pulled him from playing until he can get in for a check. Unfortunately, our insurance only allows us to go one place and they don't have an opening until April 25. His school has a very short season, that will leave him with three games to play. Then today, he found out that he wasn't accepted to the college he wanted to go to.
I know this is all small stuff in the grand scheme of things. It's just a lot all at once for him. Poor kid, his world has kind of come crashing down. I would love your prayers for him if you have a moment.
