Hi my name is Karen. I have been married to a wonderful man for 15 years. We have two beautiful children - Dylan who is 11 years old and baby Kaitlyn who is 7 years old. I am a social worker and crisis worker for people with mental illness and my husband is a truck driver.

I am here for great support, fitness ideas, healthy recipes and where I can make myself accountable!

    thanks for taking an interest in this mess i call my life. i picked a lousey time to switch meds! hubby's in school, 4 weeks to go. we've blown thru savings and racked up huge credit card bills. bouncing checks, late fees, creditors calling everyday. 4 weeks might as well be 4 years. holidays coming, how do i give my kids Christmas? i am so overwhelmed, i feel like a failure. i've let them down. its MY job to take care of them. and the idea of asking for help, even if i knew where to go to ask makes me sick. i need someone to say, sit back and let me take care of this. i'm just so tired. oh, and both our cars blew their engines within a week of each other-i wish i was making this up.
