My updated intro, a little more than two months into SP:

I just turned thirty, and so far I've lost a little over twenty pounds. I feel so much better being active and eating well. I'm getting so much more done. I guess for a long time, I was waiting for life to slow down so I could catch up, but I've realized that life doesn't work that way, and I just need to jump in where I am!

Original about me:

I was always a thin girl, but then I had a metabolism shift and suddenly I was heavier. Then I added some bad habits, had two children... So, I'd really like to be a healthy weight again and feel good about myself. I think this could work.

Also, I turn 30 in April, and I would like to be well on my way to being who I wish I saw looking back at me in the mirror. I live in the land of skinny size zero trophy wives, and I just wish I didn't always have to feel self-concious because I'm the fat girl. Not that I want to be a zero, or even a two or a four. Possibly a six, but probably an eight.

My Goals:
I need to lose 50 pounds, and I know it won't be easy. Hopefully though, it'll be all worth it.

My Program:
My plan is to do the 30 minutes Curves workout at least three times a week, and make sure that I eat healthier foods. Also, I really really need to drink more water.

I have two children and I'm mostly a stay-at-home mom, although I do have a part-time job fixing paragliders. I love books and movies. I also love hiking, and I need to do it more!
