I am almost 45 ( in April ) and have been very over weight for about 20 years and the last 4 ( total of 24 ) have been obese and am still gaining. Today March 3, 2007 I weighed in at 267.. with a BMI of 48.8

I do have a thyroid problem, I am on meds for it, however it still is not easy to lose.

I also suffer from lupus and severe arthritis from it.

I also have a horrible back due to a injury about 2 yrs ago and I am now very limited as to my ability to exercise. I joined the YMCA and can swim laps and will also try to walk more however slow I must go, and maybe even give resistance bands a try since I am not allowed to lift weights. My back injury is serious and does limit me, but it is time to find out what I can do and stop thinking about what I can't do.

I own a commercial cleaning service - which my husband now runs, due to my back injury. I have taught myself web page design and am starting a business in that and the free lance "how to do/tips/self help" writing field.

Oh yes, I have 4 grandchildren - and 1 wonderful daughter :)

03/03/07 = 267
03/05/07 = 260.5
03/08/07 = 257.5
03/23/07 = 258.5 ( TOM? )
03/30/07 = 260.5 ( TOM ! )
Today - april 5th - I am 45 yrs old and my weight in is -
04/05/07 = 264 - I am 45 and READY !
04/15/07 = 260.5
06/04/07 = 261.5 .....sigh
7/13/07 = 265 FRIDAY The 13TH - My new start on life !
Ok - Let's try this AGAIN !
7/27/07 = 267.5 - Back to the beginning ! sigh.....

to weigh 150 lbs - this is not the weight the charts say I should weigh, but I know I will feel well at this weight

My Program:
healthy eating - making sure I eat 4 servings of vegs and 3 of fruit daily - 60 ozs of water, exercise - and of course support from SP :)
