Hi my name is Wendy and I'm 30 years old. I am a mother of two beautiful girls ages nine and two. I wanted to be in the best shape of my life when I turned 30...well I'm going to miss it by a year! But I WILL be in the best shape of my life when 31 rolls around!! I am so excited to be a part of Spark People!! I have made some AMAZING friends here who have been so supportative and deserve most of the credit for my success thus far! After nearly 3 months I've finally kick started an exercise program Woo-Hoo!! It's about time! LOL I've always been an all or nothing kind of girl allowing no room for error which actually set myself up for failure. In the past if I wasn't able to see a noticable difference within the first 2 weeks (ridiculous I know) I was ready to throw in the towel and quit. I've always wanted immediate results. That is until now. I have been down the road of immediate results and they don't last. I lost 30 lbs taking diet pills back in 2004 only to quickly regain the weight after I stopped taking them. I became pregnant with our second child in May of 2005 so not only did I regain all the weight I lost but gained an additional 27 lbs with my pregnancy. So here I was bigger than I've ever been in my life and unlike my first pregnancy held on to every single pound! Two years later I practically weighed as much as I did when I delivered! YIKES!

I have learned so much already...I no longer view my weight loss as a destination but as a life long journey! I will change the the way I look at food and exercise and learn how to be healthy! I am no longer going to let my thoughts overwhelm me. I CAN do this! I am going to take it one day at a time, one meal at a time, one exercise session at a time and celebrate every pound lost along the way!!

In getting myself healthy physically I will be getting myself healthy mentally and for me that is just as important!!

Reasons I want to lose weight:

To be a good example for my girls
To have more energy to play with my girls
To feel comfortable in my clothes
To not fear seeing someone I haven't seen in awhile
To feel good about myself (confident)
To have more energy to complete household tasks
To love to buy clothes again
To look forward to upcoming family events
To be healthy

Life is too short to be miserable in your own skin. I'm DONE living a life full of regrets! I'm READY to be everything I've always wanted to be for my girls and for myself!

I am going to make it happen one day at a time!!

Fitness Minutes: 435

My Goals:
1st goal---170 lbs by Sept 25th.

2nd goal --- 155 lbs by December 25th.

3rd goal --- 140 lbs by March 25th.

Final Goal --- 135 lbs by July 6th my 31st birthday!!

My Program:
Drink my water everyday!!

Do at least 30 minutes of cardio 5X a week.

Stay within my calorie range on a daily basis.

Personal Information:
I have 2 gorgeous daughters ages 9 and 2.

I LOVE the Lord!!

I love music! I play the piano and love to sing. I am also a hopeless romantic! I love to read Christian romance novels(Karen Kingsbury rocks) I also love to watch a good love story on TV.

Other Information:
I live in Missouri.

I come from a very close knit family. I have an older sister and a younger brother who I love very much!! My parents are some of the best parents on the planet!!
