My name is Deb. I have gained weight over the years and have made half-hearted efforts to lose numerous times. I have tried several weight loss drugs, several effective but expensive diet delivery services, exercise, fasting, etc., I had moderate success at times but would eventually quit whatever the diet of the day was and gain the weight back. I have used every excuse to keep from making simple changes to my life. As of today, I will not make any more excuses for myself. I will succeed. I have wasted too many years of my life moaning and groaning about how I''d really like to change but never doing it.

My Goals:
I want to lose weight, control my carbohydrate monster, and get to feeling better! Currently weigh 266 lbs and am 5 ft 3 inches tall.

My Program:
Today is an official restart to my wellness program. I am starting to follow a general balanced diet. Plan on eating 3 meals a day plus 1-2 snacks. Adding lots of water (that I don't generally drink). Trying to control sugar binges. Trying to be consistent with exercise program - have been doing resistance bands for a while now but really need to add the cardiovascular component to give myself that little surge!

My name is Debra. I live in Southwest Virginia. I have been married longer than dirt is old. I have always been considered an optimistic person but have had difficulty including that optimisin into my own life.

Other Information:
I am a Supervisor of Nursing at a Rehabilitation Hospital. Every time our facility gets a 30-40 year old stroke victim in I shudder! Have always been into exercise but my diet has been pitiful!
