I have started and failed more times than I wish to count. How many times am I going to do this? It's been too long. Too many excuses.

I am worth this. I want to do this for me. I've spent a lot of time reflecting on my life and the people in it. I made changes for my own good. Some were hard to make. If I cannot garner respect and positivity from someone, I can no longer have them in my life on a regular basis. I am a stronger person for it and must continue to seek my peace. Life is too short.

I have to work hard to establish some sort of routine in my life. I will have to do that to reach my goals. I am truly blessed.

I first joined on 6/29/2008. I couldn't figure out how to reset my page and started this one.

My Program:
Treadmill 5 days a week. Start at the best I can do with a goal of 20 minutes per session within 6 weeks. That brings me to early August. Continue to build from there.

Finish June eating a low carb, low calorie diet. June results will help determine if changes need to be made for July. My diet may not be traditional, but it is supported by my doctors.


20 minutes of cardio 5 days a week.
Strength training twice a week.
Track food and eat within calorie range.
Remind myself that I can do this.

My glucose is now under 200 and mo longer spiking overnight up to 343. I am in high spirits. Thanking God for the wake-up call and his grace and mercy to get through this. Have a wonderful week!

    Hi Zelda, There is so much good that Chicory Root Powder does ! I began it for my osteoarthritis but quickly found how its boosted my weight loss so I went back to research it more.
