Hi, I've been trying to loose weight since a long time.

I never used a scale and figured it's enough to track my weight by fitting into the same pants all those years.. Then I bought a scale and SURPRISE: My weight was so much higher than I expected it to be! I had to realize I'm REALLY overweight!
I can't believe how distorted my vision was seeing myself in the mirror!
I started tracking my calorie intake, stopped smoking and started to exercise: running 1-2 times/week. I also started to go horseback riding again. So I lost about 30 pounds in one year.

Meanwhile I started a new job and don't have the time to track my calories everyday anymore. It really helped me to loose weight in the first place though!

I also started to do some yoga on 2-3 days a week in the evenings and if it's only for 10 minutes. After just one week I could do push-up's again!
It's not only important to do cardio but strength training really as helped form my body.

My Goals:
I want to lose 38 lbs to go back to 145 lbs (that was about 9 years ago...sad!).

My personal rewards:

5 lbs (177lbs) ~ DONE! bought 2 books (Marley & me/Notes from a big country)

10 lbs (172lbs)~ DONE! 1 x new running pants

15 lbs (167lbs)~ DONE!
got new haircut

20 lbs (162lbs)~

25 lbs (157lbs)~ DONE!
new books

30 lbs (152lbs)~ DONE!
new pants - I really needed them to show off my new skinny waist - legs - butt ;)

My Program:
I'm trying to eat healthy everyday and stick to my calorie range (~1300kcal). Not easy! I also started drinking lots of water..
I started to go running 1-2 times/week and do yoga.
(youtube has some fabulous videos..).

And of course I started eating breakfast daily.

Personal Information:
30 something with lots of punds to loose..

Other Information:
I love reading good books and travelling!
