Here I am again. I've just had a mini overhaul of this page but I'll leave the past 'introduction text' for the time being. Suffice to say I'm approaching this continued journey with renewed vigour and determination.

Huh! That is sooooooooo unfair. I wanted to take a look at some other people's pages so I'd get an idea what to write - but it can't be done. Winging it again - nothing new there then!

21st Feb '09
Well I've had a few days now to look around. And I've realised this is MY page and I can do what I like. I've had such fun reading other people's ideas though. A number of people have said how they aim to get into a particular outfit etc. I am going out with a friend to celebrate his birthday begining of March. It will only be two weeks since I started this so I can't expect miracles. I've looked in my wardrobe and chosen a dress that was just fractionally too tight before. I'm hoping I'll be able to wear it.

Well, I eventually got into the dress........... Now I'm going to have to choose another outfit to target on. Time I took some new pics too.

*ahem* Here I go again. Older and wiser [in theory], but still not slimmer.

Yey - seems this time I am getting back on track. For various reasons I have to approach it in a different way this time but it seems to be working.

My Program:
June 2015

Currently I'm being mindful of what I eat and watching portion sizes. Either yogurt, or cereal and fruit for breakfast. Home made soup for lunch, and a healthy home cooked meal, mainly vegetarian or pescatarian for dinner.

Exercise/walking is difficult at the moment so I've committed to a minimum of 15 minutes walking per day. To keep me going, I'm 'Walking to Mordor'.

Personal Information:
UK. Not all that far from London.

Other Information:
I live a mad life with children, parents and pets dependant on me. I'm preparing for the time when the children will need me less by getting fit (hopefully) and studying. Oh and trying to look '10 years younger' without resorting to surgery. ;-0

June 2015 update

The children aren't so dependent on me now. I'm still trying to look 10 years younger though. Or maybe 10 years healthier!

If you can provide a copy of the legal document outlining the settlement terms of your divorce, specifically, that the house is legally yours, perhaps you can satisfy their request without needing to transferring the deed. Just a thought, you may have already offered this. Hang in there!

Sorry about the situation with your ex. I had hoped that since years have presumably gone by since you parted ways that any animosity might have been put to bed for good by now. Especially since you stayed in the house and raised your children and he left, so it would seem it was agreed upon that the house was yours. If not, you would think he'd be even more motivated to sign for the sale, as it would mean he would get his share of the proceeds from it. Either way, he's got nothing to lose right?

Boy, do I hope that our adventure in selling/buying comes with fewer hoops, complications, road blocks, and negotiations. I've never done this before (Dearly Beloved owned the house when we met), so I have no idea what we're in for. As for the misspelling, I never noticed, LOL (though I can't imagine it would bother Dr. Seuss a bit)!

And finally, I'm glad that our dancing gave you a grin! We do it quite often... push everything to the side and dance. Dearly Beloved was taking ballroom dance lessons when we met, and it became a love for both of us. Pretty much anything is an excuse for a turn around the house, LOL!

P.S. I wonder, shall we become official friends?
