What's going on all? It is time to kick it up and get healthy. No more excuses.

Anybody seen the movie City SLickers?

If you haven't... watch it and find out what the one is to you!

Started working at this with spark beginning of March 2009!
Weight was 248. I had lost from 270 before finding spark.

March 29th.... 232lbs. Bicep 14, chest 45, hip 45.5, thigh 25.5, and waist 43.5

April 18th.... 230 lbs. Bicep 14.5, chest 43, hip 44.5, thigh 23.5, and waist 40.5.

April 24th..... 228 lbs.

May 6th.... 222 lbs.

May 18th.... 220 lbs.

May 30th... 215 lbs.

Feb 19th, 2010 ... 218 lbs.

June 15thish, 2010.... 194 lbs.

Oct 2010... 186 lbs.

My Goals:
I want to get back to being fit. I need to lose about 40 - 50 pounds. My goal is to get BMI in range for some mad ripped abs. Update: sadly I was unrealistic in what I really need to lose. I have dropped 80 and have 20 to go. Spark has helped me learn what a real healthy weight is. Thanks spark!

Disney World Goofy Race in Jan 2011. I am signed up for it. You run the half marathon on Saturday and then the full marathon on Sunday. You get a Donald Duck medal for the half, a Mickey Mouse medal for the full, and because your are soooo goofy for doing both in a weekend, you get a goofy medal for completeing both. The goal after this is to go to Disney land in Cali and run the half marathon in Sept. 2011 and get a coast to coast medal for doing it all in the same calander year. Update: Signed up for the Rock N Roll half marathon in VA Beach Sept 2010. It will be a training run before Disney! Complete the half on Sept. 5th 2010 - 1:40:54. Rocked it!


My Program:
This is what I am doing:

Well, I now have a running coach. He has me on a very specific running schedule. I am lifiting 4-5 days a week depending on my run days. Slow build of miles running each week. I am at 20 miles a week now and will build to 40 miles a week by July. Then my coach will re evaluate and build from there. This is a build up to my nexy Marathon in Jan 2011. Update: I am running 40 miles a week building to 60+ miles a week by Nov. Started a second job to help pay for the Disney trip so I am unable to do my weightlifting which I miss but it is only for the summer.



Personal Information:
37 Y/O ....In 2008, my five year old daughter said daddy "you need to quit smoking." "You have to stay with me forever." I tossed the cigs and haven't looked back. I will do anything for my four girls (wife + 3 daughters). I am getting fit for myself as well. I want the six pack I had in college and plan to get it back one day!
