I am a 28 year old stay at home mom and my weight loss journey started at 280 lbs in 2012. I am working to get down to atleast 120 lbs so I can feel better about myself. I have a wonderful husband and 2 great kids. I can''t believe i''ve lost 40 lbs so far. I now know what I am capable of(10-26-12) My husband hit his 50 lb mark yesterday and im soooo close to mine!(11-15-12) (12-21-12) I hit 60 pounds lost this morning. One more pound to meet December''s goal! 75~90 pounds to go. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming. (1-25-13) After bouncing back up 4 lbs from holiday stress im back on the downward track again. (3-30-13) Down 80 pounds. Its been slow going because i havent been drinking water like i should so my body was holding onto every ounce but im back on the water track now. I never imagined i could lose 80 lbs (im sure ill say the same thing when i reach 100 and 120 and 140). The body achieves what the mind believes! (5-3-13) I''ve only lost 7 lbs since the last update. Spring is finally here and we are doing a lot of much needed yard work and cleaning out barns and storage. I hope I can stay on track as summer gets here and we go to the lake more often. I have really started to dislike the taste and texture of ''bad food'' and have begun refusing it instead of justifying it, like im too tired to cook or someone telling me its ok to cheat because i ''work so hard''. That is the worst thing they could say because I am behind schedule{ I like schedules} from all the times I cheated. I know I am responsible for my decisions, but when they say that, it makes the steel nerves that I have tried to cultivate in myself start to quiver and I feel the pool of justification well up inside me when it had just been bone dry the moment before. But I am strong. 6-6-13 Three pounds to go til 100 lbs gone!!!!!! 6-16-13 Hit ONE HUNDRED POUNDS LOST BEFORE THE 1 YEAR MARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like I must be doing the subtraction wrong or this is a dream and that I''m going to realize 280-100 doesn''t equal 180. I''m just in shock because I haven''t weighed this since I was 13 years old.
