Introduction Text It took a defining moment on Boxing Day to realize that I needed to really take a look at my food intake - that moment was eating 8 cookies in a row - Did my planning and shopping and started on Jan 1st. The plan is to lose 30 lbs by the end of the year, maybe a bit more.

I have set specific goals for my journey - drinking at least 8 glasses of water per day, taking a certain number of steps per week, that will increase each week, ensuring that half of my plate is filled with vegetables, eating at least 4 meat-less meals per week, not including breakfast, ensuring that any grains are whole grains and eating 2 extra veggies or fruits per day. small steps will get me big results
