Introduction Text I am Starting from 335 and will eat and exercise my way down to 225. I am currently at 300 and holding.

I would like to lose 100 pounds. I want to buy retail clothing that fits and looks good on me. The icing on the cake would be joining some type of physical activity club, for a hobby (bicycling,hiking,basketball,running, etc,,,)

I eat proportionately and stay within my calorie goals. I walk 4 miles in an hour aprox. 3-4 times a week. My main goal is not to stress or beat myself up when I splurge, AND I DO SPLURGE. About once a week I it seems I treat myself to something I would normally not eat, like ice cream. I believe proportions will be the key for myself. I have only weighed in once but will again soon. If this plan is working then i see no reason that I cannot make this a permanent lifestyle. I lost 20 pounds on my first weigh-in.

My home is in the Midwest. I am married with two step children who are now grown. The last child will be going to college soon. I have worked as an EMT-A for the last five years. I am ready for a new profession. My motorcycle is passion for me. I love computers, reading, all type of crafts and art, museums, festivals, traveling.

I am currently reading Dan Brown, Robert Jordan. My favorites are Ayn Rand, Hunter S. Thompson, Tom Wolfe, Mark Twain, Benjamin Hoff, the list is too long. My Favorite movies are Pulp Fiction, House of 1,000 Corpses, Cowboy Movies (excluding the infamous Brokeback movie), Animation of all types from the Iron Giant to Anime. I also like some "Chick-Flicks" but I won't always admit to that one.
