Introduction Text I am on the road to becoming active and fit. I want to be a runner and exercise every single day. I want to be a strong and confident woman both in mind and body and SparkPeople has definitely kept me on track for that :) I am an outdoor enthusiast and want to spend as much of my time enjoying being outside as possible. I also want to be a great example for my daughter. I want her to be a strong, lean, smart, confident woman, and I am doing my best to show her an example of that

I am eating my fruits and veggies, exercising more consistently and making it more fun, and making sure that my daughter has a healthy attitude towards food and exercise as well :) I also am doing training programs to reach my goal of running

I am from Knoxville, TN and I have an amazing, beautiful, funny daughter who is six. I love the outdoors and spend a lot of time exploring and hiking. I love this area and all of it's trails and opportunities for fun. Being fit is a requirement when you are a single parent because your work is never done and it is one of the most demanding but rewarding jobs. I love the support group I have gotten from this site. :)
