I have been a successful loser. I have lost lots of weight, in each decade of my life. Here in my 50s, I am trying to do something different. Of course, I want to lose weight. But this time, I want to do it in a way that it never comes back.

My Goals:
My health related goals are to lose weight, mostly because all of my other health markers are good. I had a knee injury last year which has made it very obvious I can't go around with the extra load.
My Program:
Personal Information:
These are the 10 reasons why I want to lose weight:
1. To feel good, and to preserve mobility and strength.
2. To look better, and have clothes fit better.
3. To be functionally fit so that I can do what I want to do.
4. To set a good example for my grandson, and not be a “fat†granny.
5. To succeed, and get past feeling like a failure with my weight.
6. To get my BMI out of the obese category.
7. To go swimming with my grandson without feeling like I would like to hide.
8. To be able to enjoy clothes shopping again.
9. To take pictures without thinking about how fat I am going to look in them.
10. To fit into the chairs at church without turning sideways to sit down.
Other Information:
Just so you know, the best thing ever is having two Grandsons.
