Our postponed Mother's Day with our daughter was nice-- went to their church, GREAT music and sermon, friendly people. SIL was working, Best Boy is on a praise team at another church, but he met us at the house for lunch.

    Thank you for the prayers.

It's camping day!!! I have meat thawing-- I'm thinking I will make a crockpot of meatloaf? Still can opt out of that. It's not normal camping food! Last time we camped, I baked up a bunch of buttercup squash at home and shared that with our daughter/SIL and Besties. It was a HIT. It's just us, so I really don't need to make a 3 pound meatloaf. :D Maybe turkey and beef burgers, something we rarely do.

The wellness center is about 12 miles away. LOVE being there!

Praying for your healing, and for your upcoming eye surgery, Friend.

I've given up outside riding because of a couple of crashes on dirt roads that took that joy away. The last one resulted in a complete sever of my L meniscus (front and back of my leg) and needed surgery that enabled me to grow up to 58 to get my knee replaced. INSIDE spinning makes me feel wonderful and I've never fallen off that bike. No vehicles caused my accidents, just gravel/sandy roads and my balance.

Going to Kzoo to celebrate our late Mother's Day with our daughter. Their church and lunch out--can't wait.

We woke to wet grass and sidewalks-- it was a light rain during the night, and it's dark like it's ready to pour. Bring it on! Michigan is very dry.

I burn about 1000 calories on 20 miles of spinning class. Yesterday I quit at 40 minutes-- I knew my back was close to complaining...and I had other things I wanted/needed to do with a healthy back. I iced, work my back support and eventually I could plant my fertilizer cart in the front yard...should have taken a pic.
