Introduction Text Hi! My name is Shirley. I'm 61 and live in Clay, Ky. I love the Lord Jesus praise His name! I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 43 years. I have a beautiful daughter and a beautiful 15 year old granddaughter. I am blessed more than words can say. I've lost 63 lbs since I joined Sparkpeople. I've lost 100 lbs in all since 2003. I kept the weight off from August , 2008 until June, 2011 (for almost three years). That is a VICTORY for me! I have not been able to do that since I first gained weight after my older daughter was born. I have tried so so many diets and have been able to get the weight off more times than I can count but was not able to keep it off until God put Sparkpeople in my life. God helped me do this through them and all of my Sparkpeople friends and family. I am so thankful for that. I began having migraine headaches this year and my focus changed because I was in so much pain. I have regained 55 of those hard to lose pounds, butI believe all things work out for good though because that's what the Bible teaches. I am ready to go to work with God's help to get these excess lbs back off me and regain my maintenance status! "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Phil. 4:13

My new goal is to continue my exercise 3 times a week and continue tracking my food on Sparkpeople to keep the weight off. Praise the Lord!

I was born and raised in Clay, Ky. I lived in Southern Illinois from 1998 until 2004. I moved to West Virginia in 2004 and back to my birthplace Jan. 2, 2008.

Change goal to 120 and reached on 8/27/08 . My Revised GW:120 After 3 years maintaining my 114 lb goal weight, I have regained 55 pounds and have reverted to my original GOAL Weight of 120 lbs and will work to achieve that by my birthday next year or sooner hopefully!
