This is my mantra for 2019

This past year has been my year of really learning about myself and learning to appreciate myself and the good, bad, and not so pretty. I have spent a lifetime taking care of everyone else and their needs and that is okay I did it because I wanted to..But now it is my turn..it is finally time for me to realize that I am worth the effort and I am worthy to be loved..especially by me.. .. and I am enough .

The hardest part is getting started..the rest is just tenacity.

I enjoy music, reading, History, writing, learning something new everyday. I enjoy the journey of getting healthy and self improvement...I am finding my way back to my roots. and to my God.

My Goals:
To have healthy BMI

to have exercise become just a daily routine


My Program:
I am using the dash diet and mediterranean diet
exercise by walking daily
strength training 3x a week
Positive self talk
writing in my journal

Attaining lasting happiness requires that we enjoy the journey on our way toward a destination we deem valuable. Happiness is not about making it to the peak of the mountain nor is it about climbing aimlessly around the mountain; happiness is the experience of climbing toward the peak.



Other Information:
I am a writer..living a minimalist lifestyle with gratitude. I battle depression.and Fibromyalgia and Chronic Migraines.

I have learned that..

You can't go back and change an experience.
You can't make it 'unhappen.'

But you can change how you feel in this moment... about that experience.

You can change how you perceive that experience.
You can change what meaning you give that experience and what suffering or joy you create long after the experience has passed.
