I can understand that! I'm going for GAPS. It does seem a little complicated, and involves cooking things I'm not used to, making homemade yoghurts and fermented vegs etc, but, it feels right. I have a problem with dairy for a start, and GAPS is dairy free to begin with, adding it in when the gut has healed sufficiently to tolerate it. No complex carbs, starchy vegs, sugars, lactose or grains allowed. I can do this. I'm gonna continue on the Beat Candida plan that I'm on at the moment, then swap over on 27th December when all the Christmas entertaining is done. The first few weeks at least seem very strict. Don't want to go to all that effort and then deviate part way through. Have you read the GAPS book? There is a massive FAQ bit on this link: http://www.gaps.me/preview/?page_id=32 1246 days ago

Hi - it will be nice to share this journey. I'm really confused right now, doing a lot of reading. I'm leaning towards SCD at this moment, it seems easier to understand and hopefully follow. 1249 days ago

Hi! Just thought I'd friend you as I have also recently joined the GAPS team (and also the SCD team, which I understand is the forerunner of GAPS). Looking forward to sharing this journey with you.
