April 2011 - Here I am again, committing to eat better and excercise more. My baby girl is almost 5 months old and I feel like things are going smoothly. I am ready to start working on my waistline.

March 2010 - It's been a year since I started SP and I've gained 10 pounds. I'm pretty good with the excercise but still haven't been that committed to the eating part, until now! I started Weight Watchers this past week and am really going to do this. Even if I lose 5 pounds it would be a start!

Oct 2009 - My eating (and my weight) feels out of control. I stopped tracking calories and I know I've got a problem with portion control. I also work from home so have been grabbing snacks. New goals:
-Use foodtracker and stick to calorie range of 1150 to 1450
-Ban myself from the kitchen except for scheduled meals and snacks
-Plan low calorie meals that will still be filling
-Mix up my cardio routine
-Strength train!!! I know I don't do enough and this should help me

Feb 2009 - Joined SP. Something I want to learn is to better incorporate lifelong fitness and eating habits, not just for the months training for the next race.

    Hiya Becca! I don't know what to tell you on the weight loss- I have better luck with it when i increase my cardio, but on the Road Runners "Running to lose weight" thread, they've been talking about needing to decrease mileage in order to lose weight. I haven't hit that point yet, though.
