I originally had a introduction of how I was 40 years old and bigger than when I was pregnant with my kids. But today is a new day and it is all about being positive and moving forward. It is about ultimate goals and daily goals.

I did the New You Bootcamp, but did not eat well the whole month. So I have great measurements, but not a lot of lost weight. But still feel fantastic and pushing forward.

Today's Measurements 2/2/2009:
Weigh: 181.50
Body Fat: 40%
Neck: 15"
Arm: 13"
Chest: 42"
Waist: 41"
Hips: 41"
Thigh: 24.50"
Calf: 16.50"

Measurements on Jan. 12, 2009:
Weight - 183.50
Body Fat - 43%
Neck - 15"
Arm - 14"
Chest - 45"
Waist - 42"
Hips - 42"
Thigh - 25"
Calf - 16.50"

Yeah I lost 1" on my arms, 3" on my chest, 1" on my waist, 1" on my hips, and 1/2" on my thighs. I think I did fairly well. And since it is a new day my eating habits will be better and my weight and measurements will rock at the end of February.

The Plan:
60 minutes cardio five days a week
Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred four days a week
30 minutes treadmill with 1 minute sprints five days a week
Slim in 6 Limber workout five days a week

It is a lot, but I want a lot of weight off and it is going to happen. Again it is a New Day for me and everyday from now on!

Ultimate Goal:
I want to lose 55 pounds.
I want to feel healthy and strong.
I want more energy.
I want to wear a size 6.

Monthly Goals:
I will lose 10 pounds this month.
I will lose an inch around my chest.
I will lose an inch around my waist.
I will lose an inch around my hips.
I will be able to run for 20 minutes.

Daily Goals:
I will drink 8 – 8oz. of water daily.
I will eat a healthy breakfast daily.
I will eat two healthy snacks daily.
I will stop eating by 8:30 pm daily.

My Program:
I've managed to get my workouts in due to the New You Bootcamp.

I can't do the South Beach diet too restricting - I am going to start the Spark Diet Meal Planner on Monday, Jan. 26th. I really hope I can stick to a plan. Please help me! The food part for me is just not working out. I can do the exercise, but food control is not good.

    I went to the doctor today and she wants to put me on a low carb diet. I didn't think that was so bad, but the more I think about it I'm worried I won't be able to do it. I really should just follow my own advice and take it one day at a time, one meal at a time, baby steps. Let's just see what happens. I can only do the best I can.

    Hey I think you did great. Your toning your muscles. Muscle weighs more than fat, I think. So its just a scale. It's how your clothes fit and how you feel. emoticon
