Introduction Text Sometimes it is difficult to come up with a user name - so I just chose two things I love - quilts and puppies! In a world with many beautiful things, these are two of my very favorites. My real name is Mary; I love life and living and I hate fat, especially when it sits on my own body! Ugh! So, I'm here to do something about that! I will be blessed by the journey when I am traveling with others who share a healthy goal for themselves by reducing fat in their own bodies and increasing our longevity through better health. 7/20/2012 - Today was as wonderful as yesterday was rough. My attitude has been so much better and my food is on target. Many mini-goals of a personal nature were accomplished, and as I close out this day, I can say, it has been a GREAT day! Thank You, Jesus, for the Blessings of today. 7/19/2012 - Been a rough day with food, and personal genetic history. Heavens! To discover at my age that I am not quite who I thought I was has come as a bit of a shock. Yet I am still me, and today, I am forging ahead to be the best me I can be! Studying my personal needs and aiming to implement those needs to doable goals; low-fat and low-calories due to extremely slow metabolism. 7/18/2012 - First Day Down - My Calories were higher than they should have been; but fat, carbs and protein were all in line with my goals. I know what I need to do to get those calories down...or more appropriately, what NOT to do!
