    Hi, just wanted to welcome you to SP! It's a warm wonderful place that you'll grow to love more each day!

    I started here over 4 yrs ago and lost 75 pounds the first two years. I worked at it but I can honestly say I enjoyed it so much!
    My wt loss hit a wall with menopause and I struggle now to lose even a few more pounds. But I still feel so much better when I eat healthier & exercise! And I will never give up on my goals!

    So, continue on your journey while you're young & you will amaze yourself at what you can achieve!!

    Be sure to use the trackers and STAY CONNECTED no matter what-the support here can't be beat! You will have great days and those horrible days, but come here-it really helps knowing others are going thru the same things you are!!

    Oh, and congratulations on your marriage-wish you both a long happy, healthy life together!!

    Hi Shannon! You can do this! My advice is to start with small changes and work your way up to bigger ones- that's what helped me stick with this so far (this time!). Check out the free spark coach trial- it explains the program and site features really well. Spark teams are a great source for motivation and support.

    But the MOST important thing is to track your nutrition and exercise! Set up your goals and adjust as needed. That's the 'key'!
