Spending a year overhauling my life one step at a time.

I, like many other people on this site, have been down this road before and am back this time with a vengeance. This will be my first attempt using an actual tracker like Sparkpeople. I find that, when I don't hold myself accountable, I let all kinds of slips get by to hamper my progress.

This time, though, I'm totally done and fired up enough to keep it going. I have my incentives (aside from simply looking/feeling/being better) all set up and a way to make them happen. I have an awesome support group of friends who are my cheerleaders and my inspiration.

So it's time to get to work and make it happen. I always get mad at people who complain but never do anything about it... it's time to hold myself to the same standard on my weight. I hate it, it makes me feel bad, it's got to go! Eating any quantity of any food I want is no longer worth the cost, so it's gone. Sitting in front of my computer gaming for hours every night is no longer worth the lack of muscle tone, so it's gone.

It's hard, but it will get easier. Every milestone is a win for my willpower and in cementing a new lifestyle. Let's do this. GOMAAM, I'm done.

Fitness Minutes: 64,287

My Goals:
I want to get down to an ideal body weight by the anniversary of my Laureling - October 2018).

I have been down this road before, both with major success and without. My goal is to go from 267-170lbs and then re-evaluate how I'm feeling. If I think that's too thin, I'll gain some. If I want to go farther, I will.

Mini Goals -
Every 10lbs, starting at 250. I have a little fund started to buy myself a $20 treat for each goal - or I can choose to save them up for something bigger! I'll update here as I reach it.

My Program:
Using the basics I learned in the Weight Watchers Core program and watching my food content better for fats and carbs. I strive for what I like to call the "Everything in Moderation plan."

Along the way, I'll give myself incentive prizes for sticking to it (see goals for the outline.) These have been reset for the new plan and are closer together but less expensive.

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Winter we had Help Santa Fill His Sleigh, Run Rudolf Run and Super Bowl.
