Spring, '19

1. Be in the here and now.
2. Be gentle and loving with my tender self.
3. Be gentle and loving with others; we're all doing the best we can.
4. Make the most healthful choice I can for me in the moment.

About me (from a team questionnaire):

NAME: You can call me "Night," or you can call me "Glow," but please don't call me late for dinner! Bwaaaaa ha ha! Sigh.

AGE: I don't believe in linear aging.

STATE: Confusion. Though sometimes I'm in Cognito.

MARRIED/SINGLE/OTHER: I'll take two.

KIDS/ANIMALS: Yes, Yes they are.

HOBBIES: Believing that thinking about the gym is the same as going to the gym.

TYPE OF WORK: I'm a lumberjack. It's okay.

FAVORITE THINGS: Whiskers on kittens and connection and conversation and singing and silliness and funk and hip hop. And lemons. Lots and lots of lemons.

SPORTS: Does "keyboarding" count as exercise? Web-surfing? That should count for something. Am I right?

My Goals:
*2/20/19*
Putting a paw in the pond. Trying to encourage myself to jump back in.

My tracker is a lie! I have miles to go before I sleep (or hit maintenance.) I just wanted to start with something attainable.

*7/6/17*
I accidentally reset all of my SPARK goals! While I'm sad to lose the past year of tracking, this is a fresh start. And who doesn't need a fresh start?

My Program:
Vegan for life and for all lives.
Working toward more whole, unprocessed foods, intuitive eating, and not confusing "intuition" with "yes I do want the entire package of Oreos."

Thanks for the goodie. I hope you'll enjoy the frozen nectarine! Our supermarket here in The Netherlands recently started selling frozen peach slices and they are GREAT!
They also sell frozen lemon slices - maybe not to eat 'as is' but handy when a recipe needs just a drop of lemon. Your comment made me realize that I need not buy any frozen lemon though: I can just as well freeze some myself, as I do with nectarines and pears and bananas.
    Have a great day!

First, cut the top off of the pepper. You can discard or save for something else or parboil that too. It might be done in less time (?)and you might want to remove the stem by cutting it off it it has one. I just throw them out. Some people like to recap the filling before baking It seems like most or all of the time, I do not do that.
A lot of the seeds can sometimes be attached to the top, you can scrape them off with a spoon and also scrape out the seeds from inside the pepper with a spoon before boiling. It is easier to remove any white membrane with a spoon that is still inside AFTER it has boiled. But do it carefully.
Carefully set peppers in boiling water for 3 min and then remove with tongs (3 mintues is the recommendation(. Remove with tongs and into an ice water bath is the procedure but I just set them all aside and hold them under really cold running water. Pat dry and stuff before baking.

I'm watching it alone but I don't mind. I have the freedom to walk away during the intense battle scenes. I have cordless headphones so I don't disturb the neighbors and I can still hear the action without having to see it.

I, too, felt not alone! Thank you for the 10 minute movement challenge. I loved having discussion possibilities along the way. I learned, I've reflected, and now I have ideas for my next step. Thank you.
