Introduction Text I am 50 years old and recently married for the second time. I had a heart attack a year and a half ago and was "scared straight." I lost 70 pounds with sparkpeople and was feeling great, even though I had not reached my goal. With all the new changes in my life I became really lazy and just watched most of the weight come right back on. Now my husband and I are doing this together and we plan to be happy and HEALTHY for many years to come! Become HEALTHY and get off all of my meds

I started out just counting carbs, knowing that I had to get control of my diabetes. After about a month of that, I began to count calories as well. I also exercise, my two favorites being water aerobics and walking.
