Thank you SO much for your comments on my blog! Just so you know, Texas is one of the most aggressive states in terms of testing in the country, at least in the big cities. If there's a gap of at least a couple of years between your youngest and the next one, you might want to find out what your local district does. I would advocate for sending him to Pre-K. The advantage is a BIG plus! Thanks again!

My sister signed on the dotted line 4 1/2 yrs. ago for her daughter, and almost lost the new home SHE BUILT. BJ, her youngest left her husband and stuck everyone. She has no remorse of this act. I moved from Columbus to pay a bill of $400 a month (rent) but JoAnn still pays 540 for the one debt that has her home listed as collateral. The bill I pay will be done in June. But it doesn't help JoAnn because she never had to pay it.

I willbe moving by next yr. this time, she will put in for a hi-rise and sell the house.

    Hi Katie,
Thank you for the wonderful comment you left on my blog. I appreciate your words and thoughtfulness.
I hope your husband's grandmother never gets dementia. It is tough enough when a person is dealing with a great personality and even tougher when the personality causes one to lose their patience. Only thing is, dementia seems to turn even the nicest of people into something totally different.
BTW, taking in your husbands grandmother must be a tough job in and of itself. It is kind of you to agree to that arrangement and I hope that other family members (outside your household) can lend you a BIG hand on a regular basis. Not a job to take on alone, and especially when you have children to take care of already.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Great idea to "track" (when I can't manage real tracking) by taking a picture of meals and looking at it later. Thanks for taking the time to share on my blog!!

Thank you SO MUCH for your supportive and insightful comment on my blog today! I really appreciate the time you took to respond. This whole non-weightloss thing stinks. I've been trying since August, and wholeheartedly since Jan 1st, I whined to my doctor and she sent me for blood tests which indicate I have some sort of autoimmune disorder. She feels my body being at war with itself is why nothing is happening. So now I'm worrying that even after treatment, nothing will happen. I like to see tangible rewards, ya know? I keep telling myself health is what it's all about, not vanity. It's gonna be a hard road!
