    Chalean Extreme is a set of Workout DVDs done by Chalean Johnson. She is one of the BeachBody Gals and also does the Turbo Jam.

    Chalean Extreme is 90% Strength training 10% Cardio. In her words "Because Muscle Burns Fat" :) It is a 3 month program, 1st month is Burn, 2nd month is Push, and the 3rd month is Lean.

    I highly reccommend it! I found mine pretty cheap on EBAY. You'll need weights or resistance bands. A thigh toner (optional) and go into it knowing you will do it 5 days a week and give it 100%

    I lost 3 inches total last week. And I am excited to watch my own transformation over the next 3 months.

    Thanks for reading my blog and commenting.

    My kids are very active in sports and outdoor activities. And you would think all the running around I do with them would help me. And I am sure it does, but I guess I am still trying to find the overall balance between eating healthy and exercising regularly.

    And I know I need to find the consistent time to get in some intense cardio so I can loose weight not just maintain the weight I am at.

    Welcome to Spark People. I have found so much support here and am so grateful that I found it. There are so many great teams and challenges to join. And plenty of ways to stay motivated.

    Keep with it. Join Challenges. I reccomend the basic 5 challenge. It's my favorite. Basically you just see how long you can keep your streak alive by following 5 basic daily rules. 8 glasses of water, 5 servings veggies/fruits, Cardio, strength training, and using your tracker. The most important things to do to keep on track and keep your goals in site.
