I have no idea what the me after having two boys (and being married for 12 years!) looks like. I'm here because I'm ready to find out. Although my sister's wedding was the beginning motivation to start losing weight now, I've been looking for a reason to begin finding a better body for myself after having kids. The more I'm in this journey, the more I realize that I had bad habits and bad ways of thinking that I didn't even realize. Obviously, or I wouldn't be here! And, that I really like food! I'm willing and ready to make changes, I just can't wait to start seeing results to motivate me to continue......

UPDATE 3-30-08: After being sick myself or having one of my kids sick for the past three weeks, I'm finally back! I had checked in once during that time, and that's when I had weighed in at the 20 lbs. lost point. I know I've gained a few back since, but I'm more ready to get back into the groove than I expected to be. I allowed myself a few "treats" the last few days in anticipation of the dreaded healthy food I'll be going back to this week (still the hardest part of all this for me!). I also bought myself a new CD to walk to as a reward for getting this far and I'm actually excited to get back on the tredmill tomorrow! If I can remember how far I've already come, how much I've learned, how much better I already feel about myself, and how much healthier I've already became, I can't help but motivate myself to keep going! I'm only 5 lbs. away from being halfway to my goal! YEAH!!!!

UPDATE 11-10-08: I made it through the wedding that put me on this site (see pictures). Now, our other sister is getting married! Why not get them both overwith in less than a year after being the only one married for 12 years!!! : ) So, I'm back with motivational pictures of the new dress to look my best in in May!
