Welcome. I hope your journey here is a blessed one. My weight has been up and down since I was a teenager, when I was a bridemaid and starved myself for two days to lose weight so I could fit in my dress comfortably. That's when this journey begin. Until about 40 I could lose easily by cutting back on calories and taking diet pills. I have tried so many diets, losing and always gaining the weight back. I know how it feels to be thin, if only for a while, and I love thet feeling. However, It is more important to me now to be healthy without talking medicine to lower my blood pressure cholesterol and to strengthen my heart. I want to feel light and entergetic. I want to be around as long as the Lord has a need for me here.

I love reading all the encouragements on Sparkpeople. Its helps me everyday to chose to eat healthy day by day. This is a daily journey for me. Day by day I chose!

My Goals:
11/14----1 lb.
1 pound every week.

My Program:
I am no longer a member of the gym (Planet Fitness), we have a work out facility at work. My plans are to use the facility available at the work place. I will do continue to strive for doing weights 3 times weekly.
and aerobic exercies 6 days a week.

Personal Information:
Hello, I have struggled most of my life with my weight and tried several programs to lose and maintain a healthy weight. I recently counted points and managed portions on weight watchers. Right now I watch what I eat and exercise twice a day on most days. Sparkpeople is a tremendous help and motivator. My cholesterol and blood pressure levels are up and I need to shed more pounds to reduce the risk of heart problems. My father died of a massave heart attack at the age of 54. I would like to see my grandchildren grow up and start a life for themselve. Sparkpeople is certainly a great help with great information and great people who are concerned and motivational. I have never regreated finding this site.
