Time to Get My Act Back Together Year
My name is Lynn. I live north of Pittsburgh. I've been married to my husband, Ray, for 31 years. We have 3 kids, Raymond, Kevin and Elyse, all in their late 20's. We became first time grandparents last year:-)
I not only survived my DVTs (Deep Vein Thrombosis) & PEs (Pulmonary Embolisms), it was the kick in the pants I needed to turn my life around!

I'm now down right over 100 lbs and am maintaining my goal weight. I gotta admit, this maintaining is trickier than I would have imagined. I still use SparkPeople every single day to stay accountable!
I have MS, but am now doing better with my balance, strength and cognitive abilities since I was diagnosed years ago:D The day I ran my first 5K was one of the proudest moments of my life! I DO NOT let MS define me!
Wish me luck staying relapse free and healthy!

Sept. 2009 - I lost 40 lbs., attended the Sparkconvention in Cincinnati & turned 45 all in the same week! The convention was AMAZING!!! I am totally resparked and ready to take the holidays on!
Dec. 1, 2009 I hit my goal weight of 150 lbs!!!!!!!!
Dec. 3, 2009 Decided to try for another 5 lb loss. Wish me luck!
Jan. 20, 2010 Hit my revised goal of 145:D Am deciding if I should try for 5 more lbs.
March 27, 2010 Ran my first 5K today and realized that I was down 100 lbs the day before! At 137. 8. I actually started at 238 lbs, but just couldn't fess up to that weight, so I put 202 lbs. WOW, am I sorry now!
August 3, 2010 I've been maintaining now for about 4 months now. I want to stay at +/- 2 pounds of 135. (The lower end much more preferable. LOL) I pretty much have the hang of it, but I still really have to watch.
May 15th, 2011- Ran my first Half Marathon! I never would have thought that I could cross that off my Bucket List!
January 13, 2013- Have been slacking. Gotta get back on the SparkHorse! Time to get back to maintenance weight after around 3 years.
