I've had a daughter since I've first joined 7 or 8 years ago and I've noticed my weight slowly creep up & my body get a flabbier since I've turned 40. I've used this app in the past & the motivation is great! I work at a heart hospital do echoes & now I'm learning vascular & I see what Diabetes type II, smoking & being sedentary can do to your body inside & out. I want to be active & eat right again with the help and motivation of sparkpeople. If you want to see what your thoughts were like yesterday, look at your body today. My Goals:
To live a healthy, joyful and peaceful life.

To start a run/walk program again in May.

To eat a mostly vegetarian diet, concentrating on Eat To Live program.



My Program:
-Run 3x's/wk

-Jillian Micheals DVDs on 2 of the days that I don't run

-Eating fruit smoothies for breakfast and making my lunches so that I follow the Eat to Live program.



Personal Information:

I live in the Chicago area & I work at a heart hospital. Everyday I see how diet and exercise is the key to keeping your heart healthy & living longer. I always ask the 80 yr olds (that do better on the Stress Tests than most 40 yr olds) what their secret is to looking so young & healthy. It's simply walking for exercise. So, I am going to commit to a healthy lifestyle & apply what I preach to my life!
